Our mailing list is used for sending news of local meetings, events, and other news to supporters of Positive Money in Sheffield.

You may subscribe to the list either by sending an email request to positivemoneysheffield@gmail.com,

or by adding your details on a sign-up sheet at a meeting or stall.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

By subscribing you consent to us holding a limited amount of personal data as detailed below.

What data we hold, and how we use it

Our mailing list provider is Gmail.com.

Graham Hodgson is our email administrator

We hold your data in a Google Docs spreadsheet which we process using "Mail Merge with Attachments"

The information we hold is -

• your first name, last name and email address. Guidance how to change these is included at the end of each email
• the date we registered your details with Gmail
• we will also have access to any information that you may have registered with other Google services under their "Choose what others see" privacy settings, although we will not store this

We use your data solely for the purpose of contacting supporters - we will never reveal any of this to 3rd parties without your consent.

Spam - we will not burden you with too many emails, however it is possible that some emails we send could go to your spam folder rather than your inbox. This depends on the policies and configuration of your email system. 

Please add positivemoneysheffield@gmail.com to your address book or safe senders list, this should ensure our emails get through.

Incoming mail on positivemoneysheffield@gmail.com is only monitored infrequently. 

Other information

The national Positive Money organisation has its own mailing list which you can subscribe to on the website http://www.positivemoney.org.uk/. They send out emails about the national campaign, usually every 2 weeks.

Some of our Sheffield events are also advertised nationally, so if you subscribe to both email lists you will get some duplicated information
